Mississauga Women's Shelter will provide a safe home for all women and their children, in any crisis situation; will educate families on the issues and impacts of the cycle of violence; and will promote healthy lifestyle.

EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICEThe Mississaugi Women’s Shelter offers a 10-bed emergency shelter service located in Mississauga First Nation. This service is open to all women/children within the Algoma region. The shelter is able to accept clients outside of the region when capacity is permitting. Services provided are accommodation, food, basic necessities, laundry facilities, private bedrooms, children’s play areas, and limited storage. Public education on the issues and impacts of violence against women and children.
